BAMITS was established in 2013 by Blair Muller in Gippsland and quickly established itself as a leading IT solutions provider servicing clients from a wide range of industries throughout Gippsland and the greater metropolitan areas of Melbourne.

The Beginning

As an experienced IT professional primarily working in senior technical roles within the health sector, Blair (BAMITS's Director) had been on the receiving end of services and solutions from IT providers. This gave him the opportunity to conceive his new business, which would become BAMITS, based around delivering services the way he wanted to receive them as the client. This was great insight for a truly client-focused approach and the service model he developed has been highly successful. This has lead the business to grow at a rapid rate through its years of infancy and it now services a wide range of clients across multiple industries throughout Gippsland and the greater Melbourne metropolitan areas.

from 2011 to 2013

Between the years of 2011 and 2013, Intel Australia engaged BAMITS to integrate vPro into organisations such as Australian Post, CSIRO and Gordon TAFE in Geelong. One noteworthy project in particular was the solution that BAMITS provided for the Gordon TAFE. This specific outcome was such a success and yielded such advances that Intel Australia decided to extend their approach past the Australian market place and began marketing this new approach to their worldwide customer base.

In March 2013 BAMITS began working with AGL Energy, providing assistance with an IT solution for one of their major sites. AGL Energy engaged BAMITS to assist in revolutionising their control infrastructure at the Loy Yang Power station in regional Victoria. On implementation this new infrastructure was a complete success. It proved to be highly efficient and helped to build BAMITS’s reputation for quality service and customised solutions even further.

In early 2013, due to the overwhelming demand for its services and to ensure that it could better service its clients needs, BAMITS expanded its employee base with additional staff and began to offer managed IT services as well as a Help Desk.

From 2014 TO 2019

2014 was a busy year; the BAMITS team grew by another four members in order to cope with ongoing demand for their support services. These team members brought additional expertise to the business with senior system engineers and network specialists able to support a growing number of clients.

In early 2015, BAMITS employed a full time Business Development Manager to assist Blair with new business enquiries and provide ongoing account management for clients. Another milestone happened in late 2015 when the BAMITS team had outgrown their original office in Newborough and moved to a new office in Moe's CBD which would allow business to continue to expand.

By early 2019 the BAMITS team was 13 staff strong and offering clients a complete range of IT services including Help Desk, onsite support, hardware and software, advanced networking, consulting and software development.
